[DMANET] Post-Doc in Graph Theory, Algorithms and Interconnection Networks

Post-Doctoral Research Associate

A 3-year post-doctoral research associate with expertise in structural and algorithmic graph theory and who has the capability and breadth of experience to appreciate and undertake research in combination with more practical aspects of interconnection networks (as are relevant in, for example, networks on chips, distributed-memory multiprocessors, clusters and data centres) is required. The PDRA will work at Durham University under the guidance of Professor Iain Stewart on the EPSRC-funded grant "Interconnection Networks: Practice unites with Theory (INPUT)", in collaboration with a computer architecture research team from the School of Computer
Science, University of Manchester led by Professor Steve Furber CBE FRS FREng. The successful candidate will be part of the Algorithms and Complexity research group (ACiD) in the School of Engineering and Computing Sciences at Durham.

Despite what is stated on the EPSRC web-site, the notional start-date is 1 July 2013 but there is some flexibility as regards the actual start-date.
