One Postdoctoral Position in Discrete Mathematics at TU Graz

We are seeking outstanding candidates with strong background in Discrete
Mathematics,
in particular, probabilistic combinatorics, random graphs and graph theory.
The successful candidate will be employed as Universitätsassistent/in
mit Doktorat
(a full-time research and teaching position with 6 x 45 min teaching
duties per semester on average) for six years at the Institute of
Optimisation and Discrete Mathematics (Math B), Technische Universität
Graz, Austria.
The salary is specified in the Kollektivvertrag

and the salary group for Universitätsassistent/in mit Doktorat is B1
(Paragraph 49).
Technische Universität Graz hosts a mathematical doctoral school (DK
plus program funded by FWF) ''Discrete Mathematics''

The preferred starting date is 1 August 2012.

Condition of employment:
-- PhD degree in mathematics or theoretical computer science

Desirable:
-- Outstanding academic degree
-- Knowledge and skills in discrete mathematics and theoretical computer
science
-- Excellent command of German and English
