[DMANET] ICALP 2011 Call for Participation

38th International Colloquium on Automata, Languages and Programming

The 38th International Colloquium on Automata, Languages and
Programming, the main conference and annual meeting of the European
Association for Theoretical Computer Science (EATCS), will take place
from the 4th to the 8th of July 2011 in Zürich, Switzerland.

ICALP 2011 comprises three tracks:

Track A: Algorithms, Complexity and Games (chaired by Jiri Sgall),
in which 68 out of 240 submissions were selected for presentation at
the conference;

Track B: Logic, Semantics, Automata and Theory of Programming
(chaired by Luca Aceto), in which 29 out of 103 submissions were
selected for presentation at the conference; and

Track C: Foundations of Networked Computation: Models, Algorithms
and Information Management (chaired by Monika Henzinger), in which
17 out of 52 submissions were selected for presentation at the
conference.

>From each track the program committees selected both a best paper and
a best student paper (all authors are students), all of which will be
presented within plenary sessions.

Beyond the 114 contributed talks there will be invited lectures by

Rajeev Alur, University of Pennsylvania
Thore Husfeldt, IT University of Copenhagen
Catuscia Palamidessi, INRIA Saclay and LIX
Ronen Shaltiel, University of Haifa
Eva Tardos, Cornell University

Finally, there will be an award ceremony devoted to the presentation
of the EATCS award and the Presburger award to young scientists.
