[DMANET] Professor of Algorithms and Data Structures - University of Copenhagen

The Department of Computer Science, University of Copenhagen, seeks a
professor in algorithms and data structures. As part of the Algorithms
and Programming Languages research group, the professor is expected to
play a central role in teaching and research activities related to
algorithms and data structures at the department, including
collaboration with researchers from other areas such as programming
language technology, combinatorial optimization, high-performance
computing, data mining and machine learning. The professor is expected
to develop courses and perform relevant teaching and supervision at
the Copenhagen Master of Excellence (COME) program in Computer
Science.

Applicants should have an outstanding academic record in the
foundation of algorithms and data structures with a strong presence at
top venues such as STOC, FOCS, and SODA. The applicant should also
have a strong record for addressing more applied algorithmic problems
from other areas.

The applicant is expected to have a record of research funding from
academia and/or industry. Applicants with documented knowledge
transfer from academia (theory) to industry (practice) are
particularly welcome.
