EC 2010 Registration Information

Now that EC'10 is approaching we are writing with some updates and registration information. Please note that both early registration and the hotel and student dorm cut-offs are May 6, 2010. There are limited numbers of rooms at our special rate so please act now. Hotel prices in the Cambridge/Boston area tend to get quite expensive around early June. *Note that the student travel program application closes on Friday April 9.*

When registering you will be able to take advantage of $50- discounts ($25- for student registrants) for cross-registering with the co-located WEIS'10 (9th Workshop on the Economics of Information Security) and CCC'10 (25th IEEE Conference on Computational Complexity) events. These conferences will also offer reciprocal discounts.

1. EC'10 registration is open: https://www.regonline.com/ec2010
This site will also collect payment for student dorms.

2. Conference hotel reservation: Sheraton Commander, Cambridge MA
http://www.starwoodmeeting.com/StarGroupsWeb/booking/reservation?id=0910079603&key=99604

3. Student travel and volunteer program: We are able to offer a limited amount of travel support to students. We expect to offer successful applicants $400- towards travel, free registration for tutorials, workshops and the main conference, and be asked to help as a volunteer at the conference. Interested students should send an email to hq@eecs.harvard.edu by Friday April 9, along with information about an EC'10 paper (if any) and also home location. There are only a limited number (around 5) and preference will be given to 'first author' student applicants, and then by lottery.
