The conference is technically sponsored by the IEEE Vehicular Technology
Society and the IEEE Communications Society and will bring together
individuals from academia, government, and industry to discuss and exchange
ideas in the fields of wireless and mobile communications, networking and
signal processing employed to support the needs of the Information Society.
The conference will feature world-class plenary speakers, special sessions,
tutorials, workshops, and technical and application sessions.

We invite the submission of original, unpublished technical papers in the
following areas:

- Cognitive radio
- Communication theory
- Signal processing
- Networking, protocols
- Antennas and propagation
- Wireless sensor networks
- Multimedia systems

Prospective authors are encouraged to submit a 5-page full paper (or a
2-page extended abstract including results) through the conference web site
using the Trackchair system.

Keynote speakers:

Prof. Paulo Diniz, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - Title:
High-Throughput Block Transceivers

Prof. Josef Nossek, TU Munich - Title: Do Communications Engineers Need
Circuit Theory?

Prof. Ali H. Sayed, UCLA - Title: Adaptive Networks and Bio-Inspired
Cognition

Prof. Andreas Mitschele-Thiel, TU Ilmenau - Title: Self-organisation in
Mobile Communication Systems

Prof. David Gesbert, EURECOM - Title: Cooperation in Cellular Networks:
